Default Steering Wheel

While everyone is trying to swap the engine and transmission from the new Tib, I'm just wondering if that nice lookin' 3 spoke steering wheel will fit on the older generation cars. I don't see why not.

Yup, Im gonna do a swap too, my whole tib for a whole new tib. heh. Anyways, Im sure there are similarities between the two wheels and it would be possible. But it would be cheaper to install an aftermarket wheel Im assuming.

i'm not a fan of aftermarket steering wheels, for the sole fact that you lose your airbag. i like to feel safe, just in case.

Yeah, thats very true. But if your like me an accidently broke the airbag (somehow, I DO NOT know how and would like to know.) aftermarket is ok.

I wouldn't mind having an aftermarket wheel like Sparco, Momo, or even some of GT Grant's but the main appeal of the new Tib's was indeed the airbag. It's just nice knowing that it's there. Plus the class I run in autocross does not allow swapping an airbag equipped steering wheel for a non equipped one
