Default Install changes for a Turbo in a Tiburon

Hello,

this is my tiburon:
.

After the optical tuning, i want to install a Turbo. The install of the Turbo is not the thing,
but what is whit the other things like the brakes, the clutch and the transmission?
- Have you install a big brake kit or only Drill Rotors with pads?
- For the clutch, i think i take once from PCS. Anyone experiences with this.
- Whats with the transmission? I found nothing for this? Use you the original?
- Whats the best short shifer fpr the tiburon? I have the B&G, but this one is not good.

Thanks for your answers

im still running my stock brakes at the moment but will look at upgrading,

Performance styling center (im using the brass button) it is working sweet at the moment at 600kms (havn't realy thrashed it yet) Bretton had real good service too when i had install problems (props to him) but there is alot around find the cheapest exchange rate and the one that will suit your app.

no experience with the B&G - should be fine ive got the hve short shifter

you could put in a lighter flywheel for faster spool etc. (not neccessary)

whats you WHP Goal???:

your mirrors rock ;X)

First, i´m from germany and my englisch isn´t the best, but i try.
Thanks for answering. I want to buy the heavy duty clutch to, you say they is good? ok and whts with your short shifter? is he really good? the b&g shifter is similar to the original, no big difference.

With WHP you mean the Wheelpower? I dont no so exact, but i want to have 200-220 hp enginepower. In the moment i have 160 hp and the whp, i dont know, i must look, i have 268° Cams, a chip, 4-2-1 header and a complette exhaust.

How many HP do you have?

Greetings
Andy

this short shifter is supposed to be very good. there is a group buy on it right now to make pricing lower, but shipping costs to germany might not be worth it.

WHP = Wheel Horsepower yes you are correct:

The Heavy duty clutch will do you fine, but as i said look around for best price and exchange rates for the german dollar.

i have the brass button clutch.

use the "search" function and look for "clutch" reviews

I have only done 600kms on the new clutch so i can't realy be a judge (time will tell)

The HVE is very similar to the stock shifter but just shorter. ( i noticed the difference)

www.hyundaiaftermarket.com
and
www.rdtiburon.com
are other good places that deal with the Coupe..:

here are a few links for you.

when you say you have 160 hp but don't konw the wheel horsepower, that means you've had your engine on an engine dyno, but didn't have the car dyno'd on a chassis dyno? or are you getting the 160 hp from speculative numbers gained from certain mods?
