Default Looking for rim and tire info on 97 Tiburon FX

I want to get away from my stock rims and tires on my 97 Tiburon FX. Any info from someone who has upgraded their Tiburon wheels would be greatly appreciated.
What is the max rim and tire size that I should go? I am looking at 17x7.5 or 18x7.5 rims with a 205/40/17 or 205/35/18 tire.
One thing I really need to know is what is the correct offset that I will need on the wheels. I know the bolt pattern is 4 x 114.3, but don't have a clue on the offset for the new rims.

HELP!!!

40 is good. i have 17" x 7.5" on my car with 205/40Z/17 on mine, with a 40 offset, and there perfect..

bolt pattern is going to be 4x114.3 dual pattern drilled wheels (4x100 & 4x114.3) won't fit without swapping out your hubs with that of a 2nd gen which does not have captive rotors..

+40 offset
