I installed the Shark Racing gauge faces and now there's a light that says HOLD that lights up all the time and stays lit up. This wasn't on the stock faces, or at least it didn't light up if it was there. What the hell is it for and what does it mean?
Also I messed up when putting the needles back on and now it says I'm doing 40mph when I'm sitting still, the engine is running dangerously hot (its not, just the gauge says it is), and Im constantly red lining. The only gauge that's somewhat accurate is that gas gauge. I though I put them back on correctly, but I guess not. anybody have any tips? Should the car be running? Thanks guys.
well as far as I know they were never deployed. I'm pretty sure the light used to come on and then go off with the old gauges. Now, if its the same light, it stays on. Would resetting my ECU make it go away?
man, ive tried resetting shit, disconnecting the battery, etc, nothing turns that off, i just run with it on

I compared em to the stock faces and it doesnt even look like the light was there....there is something there where it is now on the SR ones, but it looks like it wouldnt be able to light up, its like covered up. and this light only comes on when I turn on the headlights. DOesnt make sense to me.
When you took your dash off, did you disconnect the battery first? That was something you should of done before hand, if you didnt. The air bag light needs to be reset. I'm pretty sure if you go to the dealer and just tell them it came on, on it's own, they might be able to reset it for you no charge. Otherwise, some dealers will charge you.
