Default RD1 Cupholder question..

My cupholder used to slide out slowly and smoothly but now it just shoots out violently.
Is this normal?

HAHAHA I'm having the complete opposite problem, mine used to come out fast (not violently though, it came out speedy and smooth) now it takes an hour for that bitch to come out all the way unless I pull on it

Mine does that as well, so I guess you could call it "normal". Same with the ashtray...they're just spring driven plastic gears. The little gears that slow the motion get worn down.

the cupholder is at least 3months old and it's already screwed :depressed:

My cupholder shoots out pretty fast. I just tell everyone it's K-Kustom Hi Performance yo!

My cupholder would smoke a Civic's cupholder!
