Default Auto tranny power

How much power to the wheels have you guys heard of a first gen handling with no problems? I'm shooting for 250whp, what do you suggest besides a tranny swap.

thats about it. 250hp then the axles cant handle much more than that. u'll need a turbo or supercharger for that... N/A will get you ~180hp is my guess.... :rambo:

ok, your auto tranny isn't strong. i'd say 200whp is the LIMIT. you can send it off to level 10 to have them build it to a guranteed 350whp level, but that'll cost...much more than it would cost to swap to a manual...i think it costs $2500 or so to have them build it. if you're not interested swapping out to a manual, a tranny build is a necessity for 250hp on a tib...contact level 10. i'm not sure of the website.

btw, the axles can handle 250hp easily. they don't break until you send much more power to them. it's the pistons and differential that need replacing when you get that high.
