OK i only want posts regarding these two LSD's.. i need some people interested in one or the other. I am really interested in replacing my diff. to get ready for turbo.. First off, Quaife is a better diff. but hella hard to get ahold of.. neone on here think Quaife would be worth the try????? OK now KAAZ, a little bit easier to get, but have heard some lil probs with em.. i guess there just not as good quality..
neway i need to hear what people think and maybe we can honestly get a real GB our somethin' on KAAZ or maybe Quaife.. be nicer to pay $800 instead of $880 for KAAZ
ive heard nothing but good things about both i am going to get the kaaz cuz dan (KORE) wont give you what you bought or your money back so...but i have heard really good things about the kaaz
thats good for you...but it is pretty common knowledge that his company doesnt have good service, even a friend of his says it is bad service what he does
Don't make me break out the "Hammer". I will delete posts and deduct points if the OT comments persist.
Now, back on topic.....
It depends on what you want to do. The Quaife is a Helical LSD. Helicals are better for roadracing because they engage and disengage gradually. The Kaaz is a clutch-type LSD. Clutch-type's are better for drag racing because they engage almost instantly and hold harder than a helical LSD. Also, the Kaaz is adjustable. By swapping the order of friction and drive plates, you can adjust how "tight" the diff is. I'll be going with the Kaaz for my car.
