Default Stinking Headlights?

I just bought some Sylvania Silverstar H7's and how the hell does the spring clip come out?

If it's the same as the Tib, you should just have to press down on the clip so it will unhook from the little latch that holds it down.
Hope that helps, it's pretty straight forward to do this.

he does have a tib...

do as BT said, push down on the end with the hook, then just bend it outwards and off.

onplug the wire harness from the bulb by pressing the 2 tabs that are on either side of the plug. this takes a good deal of pressure and just wiggle it free.

pull off the rubber grommet that keeps dust/moisture out.

locate the steel retaining spring, should be ~1/32" steel bar type deal. press the tab in and out of the hook that it sits on.

congrats, i also use the silverstars and they are amazing. blew 1 bulb after 1 year and just replaced the 1, i expect the older one to go out sometime as well no i didnt replace both at once. sue me

Yeah I realized how easy it was...once I did the LEFT one (if your facing the car). It was a bitch to do on the battery side, and especially in the cold at night. So I said Fvck it and I took the battery out and did it. Sooo much easier. I will never try and do it with the battery in again.
