Those mother fuckers. I've been going over there to Rotora repeatedly to ask em whats up. One dude was cool, the other a cocky fvck. Wanted like 2000 for a 13" big brake kits? He said they'd not do it unless they could have someone pay for tooling, greedy rich bastards.

And tiburon brakes are the same from mid 98 to 01, shouldn't a Hyundai tech know that, lol.

The front brakes are the same through mid-99 to 01, not '98. You can't use a non-captive big brake kit on a car with captive rotors without switching hubs (which the big brake kit WILL NOT come with). Perhaps that's why you were quoted so much.

Thanks Rob.

If you have the NON captive fronts then this should work. Yes Alex is the test car. I needed someone real close with a 2nd gen.

They are making a rotor that will work on 2nd gens and 3rd gens..AND they have or will have shortly a 2pc rotor available.....but once I know more I'll let you know.

Blegh. Some of us actually want 16" rims to fit on the Big Brake kit for dragging/autoX. :

Ooh...and what type of caliper? Please say something 4-pistons or more....oh and slotted rotors would be nice...but definitely want powerful calipers. Also, we get to choose the color of the caliper? I don't want the retarded red ones (no offense, but red on silver looks bad). Silver calipers, anyone?
