Default anyone installed dynamat in their trunk?

I'm nearing the end of my quest for a perfect sound system. I am finally installing dynamat in my trunk so the trunk doesnt rattle like an early 90's cadillac. I've taken a quick glance in my trunk and the sparetire well wont be too hard to get to (cant say the same about actually dynamating it.) But how do you get underneath the carpet in the trunk?

after you take out the spare tire cover, pull up on the little "flaps"(i guess) that are on the outsides of the trunk, closest to you. then , the whole thing will lift outta there.

i hope im explaining it right, you should see what im talking about once you try it.

Anyone have some left over dynamat scraps? I just need like 2 square inches to fix my goddamn mother fucking rearview mirror rattling. It's driving me insane. :dead:

I dynamated the moon roof and that damn think still rattles some wheter it's open or closed. My hatch doesn't make a sound even with two 12" subs in the back, but the speaker cover on the right rear took some silicone on the inside of it to shut it up. Dynamat didn't seem to do it.
