Default Something funny going on with my TIB????

I noticed recently that for some reason my tib is acting up, I am not sure but as far as I can tell it almost co-incides with when I changed my tires and brakes. I noticed now that it is slow to respond at take off revs around 3-4K RPM's before starting to pull away...once i am on the highway it seems to respond better but when I give it gas revs up to about 5-6K RPM's before starting to accelerate...I have 58K Km's and am closing in on the anniversary of my warranty. I know I have to change my belts for the AC but not sure if that would be related...I have a feeling it might be the clutch???? anybody have something similar? suggestions ideas?

Thanks in Advance for any help

It does sound a little like the clutch, but warranty doesn't cover the clutch anyways.

Take it to the dealership before the warranty is over and get them to check the whole car over. Where do you live?

I think it was Random who said this one (at least for the 5-speed Tibs):
Put your car in 3rd gear at low RPM's and begin to accelerate. If your RPM increases at a different rate than your speedo, your clutch is slipping.

Since your car is on warranty, why haven't you just taken it back to the dealership?

things like clutch, brakes, belts, and tyres are NOT covered under warrenty.. they are considered "wear" items...

I would hate to meet anybody who could wear them out (especially the stock tyres) in that short amount of time

My clutch didn't wear out, but it came apart at 400 miles. Covered by warranty.
