Default Question about cat back and muffler for tib

i read the post which says buy cat back and some cheap muffler...
i know cheap muffler won't help any h/p, but does cat back it self help h/p?

if i buy 5zigen's muffler, would it help at least 1hp? and how much should i think to pay in muffler shop...

The Zigen Muffler is universal. Why? Because I have one. Have your local performance muffler shop make you a custom 2.25 or a 2.5 inch catback.

A cat-back exhaust WILL help your car. I have a Pacesetter cat back (had to have it modified to fit - they changed the flange on them) and the dyno proved it made a difference, plus you can feel it (and the sound is better). It's a 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust, and it moved my peak torque down 1,000rpms.
It will help. The muffler itself won't do much (other than look pretty and sound better than stock), but add it on to a good mandrel bent exhaust and you will see/hear/feel an improvement.
