Default How to remove the engine covering on the 2003.

As you may know that the engine compartment on the 2003 tiburon has ALOT of plastic crap that needs to be dealt with in a serious manner.

First remove the cover by unscrewing the two bolts on top of the v6 cover, Carefully pull upwards and it should come off.
Next is the intake box cover, this consists of unscrewing 3 screws or bolts, on on the left side of the cover and two on the bottom, you will have to look to the far right to unscrew it, once off, look below the intake air filter box, which will be the neg/ pos battery ternmanals, there will be a screw/bolt on the right side of the battery termanal to the rar right which is the negative battery terninal, below that bold and to the left will be another screw or bolt, and down father to the left will be another. Next you will come across two screws or bolts that lay virtically from each toerh, unscrew them, moving now further to the left past the radiator cap will be another screw/bolt. and then look to the left a bit more and you will see another screw/bolt. Moving up now you will see the washer fuild cap, there will be I believe 3 screws around in that area that you will need to take out, after taking them off, move up the to the powersteering cap, there will be a bolt or screw near it aswell.

This information should work, I went to the dealership today and just started writing sh!t down like crazy. I hope this works.<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
