I feel your pain dude!

I've been waiting for the V6 6-speed to come to Canada. I have had it on order by the dealership for monthes and monthes now!!

But they haven't had even the opportunity to put their name down in the pool at the docks for the GS-R <img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>

I agree that the 2003 does make the 2000 feel like a pinto. I have to admit I was going to purchase a new 2003 fully loaded this past Sat. But when I test-drove it I have to admit it wasn't all that. Like I've posted already I turned my Tib in for a Saab 9-3 SE Turbo.
Now that made even the 2003 Tib feel like is drove a 1994 elantra or even worse a go-cart.

Oh, quit your crying. The docks are right here in Vancouver (Richmond, actually), and we're STILL going to be pretty much the last ones in Canada to get the V6s. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/cry.gif width=16 height=16 border=0>

Are you the guy that bought the silver automatic one from Lithia for 27 grand?

I'm in Fresno too. I've talked to Maxx a couple of times. I'm pretty sure I saw you driving your new tib around the other day.

If the guy you saw was mid-twenties pale with
buzzed off blonde/red hair (stubble really) that would be T.J. The car is silver, but I think he told me that he paid 23,000 for it. Lithia wanted more but the banks would not finance it at a higher price. I think Lithia could tell that T.J. was really wanting to be the first V-6
Tib owner and kicked the price up to capitalize on that fact...till the banks said "no".<img src=/images/forums/snitz/finger.gif width=33 height=15 border=0><img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> The
new Unorthodox pulley should be installed on MY car tommorrow if all goes well...I'm going to Sebring West to look for the belts...then maybe I'll get T'J to race me<img src=/images/forums/snitz/cool.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>
..just for sh*ts and giggles. Hows your car?<img src=/images/forums/snitz/wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>

Okay, here is my gripe. The new tib is cool and all but...

I got my 2k1 tib because it was the most stylish, powerful, and resonably prices vehicle its class... (plus they made a rally car out of it<img src=/images/forums/snitz/smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0>)

The new tib is just another v6 3000lbs. car. Whoo hoo(dripping with sarcasim). but this would be cool still if the performance for dollar was still as good as the 96-2k1 tibs.
There is a car manufacturer called ford (that the majority of everything they make doesnt have very good reliability records) that makes a car called a mustang GT (this vehicle however has a bullet proof engine and drive train and can handle quite a super charging with out modification). This car makes 260 hp and 300+ft.lbs. and look very aggressive. (yes they do make altezza tail lights for it so the rice boys can be happy too). But the best part is it: it's only like $1-2k more than the new tib. and only weighs like 250 more lbs. Plus they handle wonderfully (53f/47r wieght dist.)

I would encourage all v6 tib owners to pick a race with a 4.6 litre mustang and experience humilation. I dont know i was hoping for a little more than what we got from hyundai this time. after i drove the v6 tib, i almost cried from anti-climax. Normally, i am pro import, pro hyundai but more than that I am pro performance. chrome and pretty stuff doesnt excite me. I just want to be fast and loud. Turning heads means nothing. Hyundai lost me on this venture my next one will be domestic im afraid.

Sort of a disclaimer:
out of all the import 3000lbs v6 n/a sport coupes in the world i would prolly pic the tib.

<hr width=60% noshade size=1 align=left>I have the fastest Hyundai on the forum...

when I am asleep and dreaming...
