Default How large can she go?? (2003 tib)

First i would like to say hi, and introduce myself to the Forum. Now my true question, i've been looking at the new 2003 Tib, and i was wondering, how large of a tire can ya fit onto the car.. Lookint to purchase one come this summer if i can't find the car i've been dreaming of.. (01' Jetta Wolfsburg)
Was hoping to put some 18"/225/40 or wider if she'll fit.... Post your opinions!!

BTW-- Wonderful car to drive.. Almost took it home with me, to bad at 18 i don't have any credit!!

Those tires will easily fit.

The GT comes stock with 215/45R17 tires .

19"s would be nice!! But i live in New York (30 mins from NYC ) And i would cry if i bent a rim after paying so much for them.. Personaly i haven't driven on 19"s, but from what i've heard, once you go that large, your just adding extra weight, and the ride can get very ruff.... 18"s will do just nicely..
