Default 1999 Tiburon question

hey, i went past the hyundai lot today and saw a 1999 black tiburon, so i HAD to go check it out...anyways. its got about 87,442 km. how do you think it would hold up in the long run if i purchased it ?...would it break down within 2 years or 3 of getting it ?

theres the link for it...oh and it was also marked down from 12 000 to 10 000 and some change.

He's Canadian, so that converts to about $25000.00

Actually, more like $8500 Canadian.

I have 90k miles on my 1999 Hyundai Tiburon FX. I take care of it thought.. I put 30k miles in a year.. lots of hellish driving.. etc... I also had two acccidents,, My beast is still running like a champ.. I think the 1999 1st gen is the most reliable because its the last year of the 1st gen.

my bad, 10,000CAD is still too high though.

ill agree with blacktibby and say 8500 would be a good high-end price if everything is working fine and in good condition.

^^ are you kidding??? Wow my black tib and blue tib also have 103,000 miles on them. Thats just plain weird.

anyway that is WAY too much for the car. I spent $5600 on my silver tib which has 56k miles on it. Most I would spend on it would be $6500.

And hells yes it will last you, so long as you take care of it, do your oil changes, and don't let it sit w/o running it at all for months. My black tib was running as strong as ever when it was brutally killed last month. And it still ran even after it was killed.

I work for Burlington Hyundai. I have a couple Tiburons here if you are interested. That seems a little high for a 1999. We had some 2000-2001's here that were going for that much. The mileage is good but not for that price. If you really want a good deal without worrying about wether you are getting a good deal, the check us out. Just ask for Graham.
