Stock...no. Maybe with someengine swap and an aftermarket turbo. But not out of the factory.

There's a 1.8L and a 2.0L for tiburons. Thats it.

Engine sizes from hyundai in Tiburons.

1.6ltr Beta (4cyl) ~ Not in US market
1.8ltr Beta (4cyl)
2.0ltr Beta (4cyl)
2.7ltr Delta (V6)

None of them were factory turboed

I doubt he is asking factory.... but honestly, I have never heard of anybody stroking and boring out a beta to 2.2. I bet it would be fun to try though.

its possible..

how reliable.. not sure.

Ive only heard of one...

I was going to be the second, but i decided not to. Ill wait until i blow the engine, before i bore it out even more.

If you blow the engine at 2.2Ls then you can kiss that block good bye.

RPW in australia had a 2.2 stroker kit. it was more directed for NA applications with their quad throttle body setup. but i don't see anyreason why you can't force it
you might want to contact bretton in the Australian section if your realy serious.

He's a good guy that helps the Hyundai scene.
