Seriously, MBRP makes a really good cat-back system that a lot of folks around here like. I didn't see that HP carries it, and I'm not sure what the opinion is on the one they do carry.

http://www.speedstate.com has the MBRP.

or a cheaper alternative is to have a custom bent midpipe installed. 2 1/4 diameter is what i got, it works well with the straight through muffler and the shitty obx headers. i just don't recommend getting an obx cat, or the monza cat. the monza gets bad feedback, and i just don't trust obx's quality.

Also, don't get a "high-flow" racing type cat. I've learned the hard way that you will get CEL's even if you do everything else right because the ECU thinks that your cat isn't efficient enough.

I had the MBRP on my car an it was alright...but I wasnt reall all that impressed with it. And I hated the way the exhaust tip looked. It sticks out way too far from the bumper.

Yeah. Thats the setup I wanted to do, with 3 inch piping, but I ended up with another full exhaust system when I got the parts car. It sounds pretty good from what I head, so I think Im gonna try it out.

3" piping would be over kill on a NA motor

I have a 3.5" intake :
