I am new here and I don't really know what a throttle body is or what is does? Also what is the advantage to having a "quad throttle body". Thanks for any help, I just don't know.

i personally think that you should just do a motorswap rather than a quad throttle body setup, you'd get more HP and Torque and it will cost you aroud the same $
just a thought<img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

regarding the quad throttle body it is a rpw/hve product sold through phantom racing( at a rather large markup i might add). What it does is puts a separate throttle body on each cylinder with a intake that feeds all four tb's. According the the rpw page it will make 30% more hp with(heres the tricky part) a few other modifications. I wouldnt recommend it, there are a lot of durability issues to the qtb, and for around the same price you could get a turbo or s/c that produce 60-100% more horspower as opposed to 30%
