We all know the RD windows suck, half way down, all the way down, slam the door and RATTLE like it s gonna break the glass.
Lets fix that so its a nice THUNK!
Well, basically.
Step 1, Remove the door panel. You should be able to figure this out easily enough.
Once the panel is off locate the two bolts in this picture
As you can see, these are attached to little brushes that hold tension on the window. And I guess they wear down, so lets adjust them to tighen things up.
All done!
Have a nice happy thunk sound now

RIP LiL Coupe
Born Dec 97 Died Jul 2005
104000 Klms
MANY at full hardcore B>
we raced together often
and still she begged for more
damm it hit that wall hard,
no injuries, not a scratch, i didnt cry.
good-bye my LiL blue coupe,
there're more races at that great track, in the sky.
I tried this and it didn't work, my windows still thunk if I shut the door when they are half way down. Probably from the massive system I used to have.. hehe. Oh well, ne1 know of another way to stop the rattle? My brushes are currently adjusted as close to the window as they will go. Someone said to get new brushes. Will this solve my problem, or is it unfixable? Thanks in advance for any help.
Besides these brushes, there are a couple more bolts around the top part, that get loose.
Beneath them they have rubber blocks.
Tighten them too.... and it's all good!
