2001 Tib engine sputter?
I have a 2001 tiburon with 50k on it has been running fine untill about 2 weeks ago. I recently found out I have an exhaust leak, that explaines the ticking noise, however the new problem is that the engine has a sputter, no specific rpm. It usually does it when you are trying to hold speed, 30, 25, any gear until the engine hits the exact middle temp mark. Even under no load when I open the hood and twist the throttle valve it will sputter but only on the very bottom of the throttle band. I have replaced the plugs "and they needed it" and I am gonna replace the fuel filter, Im not sure if its a fuel filter issue as after it warms up it is fine. Any ideas, Thanks.
