Well I was messing around under the hood today with the engine running and towards the back of the IM, by the firewall it sounds like a shhhhhhhhhhh noise when it idles. Vacum leak instantly came to mind. However, the car runs perfect and never has powertrain problems. In addition the shhh noise stops when you apply some gas. Is this common? Now that I am thinking about it kind of sounds like the same noise that the air going into the TB makes when you have all the hoses off. Maybe its just more pronounced in this car?
