I'll go ahead and save everyone some time:

Everyone who owns a 97-99 will say 97-99.
Everyone who owns a 00-01 will say 00-01.

I think the RD1 can be modded to look the best, but stock vs. stock, I'd take the RD2 (2000 tib here)

i dont agree, i sit in both daily. to have the perfect car, you would need pieces of both

you would have to start with a 00-01 as a base, being that the 97-99 interior is very boring and blah.

id want the 97-99 front clip, and the rest a 00-01 really.

RD2. I like the rear on the 00 tib better. The front i like as well, sometimes the circular lights may piss me off, but the 99 tib looks a bit cheap imo. Oh and stock rims on 00 look a hell of alot better than 99 tibs.

RD2 2001 tib owner here

I don't own either (anymore) but the RD2 looks better IMO.
But seriously, who gives a fvck? Get what you like, not what you think other people will like.
