what is the biggest engine i can put into my 1998 tiburon SE engine bay?

The engine that you want to put in your engine bay is the one that's already there. A bigger engine might fit, but it would probably be a lot of work to put in and such. If you want more power, just turbo your Beta instead.

The engines that came with the RD Tibs were a 1.8ltr and a 2.0ltr. There is very little power diferences and certainly not enough to warrant a swap. There are no other direct bolt ins that would be better. In a way, it is kind of like asking what engine I should swap into a Civic Si.
