Default MSD Activation Window Switch

I've got this MSd and want to connect it for safety reasons due to NO2. But I know for a fact that RD tibs are weird with their coils and I'm not sure if it will work (if coil will send the right signal to the MSD). There are 4 wires to connect, RED goes to 12V, BLACK goes to ground, YELLOW goes to the ground wire of the device I want to connect in this case ZEX ECU, and a WHITE which goes to the coil negative terminal.

Check the below web site for installation instructions...
http://www.msdignition.com/pdf/8956_frm24819.pdf#search='msd%20activation%20windo w%20installation'

My concern is: I have already connected a tachometer with a shiftlight in the negative coil but it doesn't always work properly, a mechanic once told me that this car sends different signals from the coils that's why.

Has anyone tried to connect the MSD???

Thanks
