Default Re: Lowing springs

ur lucky that the front is easy but not the back... ok lets get to the point.
tools you need r 14' n 17' socket wrench n extentions.
u dont need to take any thing but the strut out. no shafts or anything.
for the front there will be two bolts that hold the strut to the wheel assembly. losen those two bolts n losen up the top strut mount n there u go. be careful taking out the springs, highly recomending spring compressers. thats the front. but when u stick it back in u might need the jack to jack the axle up so you can aligne the holes for the two bolts.

for tha back it takes more time.
you have to take out all the crap in the back n remove the mount that holds the rear piece. everything pretty much has to be taken out. taking out the struts should be easy from there.

sorry it is not descriptive. but if u need help e-mail me n ill go more in depth if u need.

rears are just as easy as the fronts really, on most cars there hard, but hyundai actually designed the rear section to have an easy access plate to give u access to the strut mount area, unscrew the 4 screws, and its right there. took me about 45 minutes to install my intrax.
