Default How to add HP

I bought a 2001 Tiburon a few days ago and I'm interested in adding some HP to the car. So I'm looking for suggestions on how to do this. Mind you I'm no car expert, but I'm mechanically inclined so if their are instructions I can do it.

Well, the normal upgrades are: Cold air intake, header, and exhaust. Depending on how cheap or how nice the products you buy are, you could get all three for as low as say $350, but they could cost as much as $1000+ if you want nice stuff.

After that, many people do a big bore throttle body $250, better spark plugs and wires (although they do little for power) $100, clutch $400, and there are more, but it depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Check out these websites to see some of the products available for our cars:

www.kspec.com
www.andysautosport.com
and the HP store

Good luck and have fun!!

Anyone feel free to fill in where I may have missed some things, I am tired and can't think too well at the moment.
