Default Better sound/more power in 98 Tiburon

Hey guys, I'm new here.
I just bought a 98 Tiburon FX 1,6 about a month ago, bone stock, and I love it so far.
But just out of curiosity, is there a simple and somewhat "cheap" way to make my car sound better, and also maybe boost it's acceleration a bit?

Thanks, JT

Get a cold air intake.

Look in the HP store.

I had a look in the shop, and the AEM intake and bypassvalve is what I'm looking for I guess, and the price seemed right, but I coulden't find a shipping option for Norway. Is it even possible to get the parts shipped here?

id do a header and a CAI. For an exhaust id get a 2" madrel bent system, or even use the oem 2.0L tib item.

Also, when I bought the car a month ago, I got a 1 year warranty with it. Will the AEM mod. void the warranty?

Thanks

The AEM cold air intake will require you to cut a hole in the lower splash gaurd of your engine bay. The piping for the intake is 3", so the hole will be of considerable size-easily noticable if a shop is doing warranty work(shops doing warranty work very often look for any signs of modification that would void the warranty). So I would say your best bet would be to contact the place you purchased the vehicle and ask them if a CAI and header or exhaust would void the warranty.

About the parts, you should easily be able to find the AEM intake and any other parts on Ebay. More than likely someone will be able to ship them internationally if HP can't do it. The AEM intake would be a sure buy, but if you look at exhausts and headers be careful, there is a lot of junk on Ebay, and you don't want it.

Good luck with the project and let me know how it turns out.8D
