Default 6cyl engine drop

Would it be possible and less expensive than adding a turbo, to drop in a 6cyl engine? I don't plan on doing the work myself as I don't know what Im doing, but I need more power.

I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon 4cyl 2.0L. NOT ENOUGH!

I assume it would be cheaper to turbo. The installing of a Delta into the place of the Beta will require custom parts and having somebody else doing this would kill your funds.

Cheaper and more benificial to turbo the car. This has been discussed a billion times, if you try doing a search, you will find some info on this.

Nah. Have n00bs post so we can laugh at how many times people have to post the same sh!t and get flamed for doing so.

Delta 2.7L V6 will require extensive modifications...just turbo your car. And you clearly don't have enough money to finance a conversion like this anyway...seeing how you DID buy the RD Tib versus a GK Tib that came fully loaded. Prepare to drop about $2k-$5k...seeing how the V6 engine is rather new and pricey.

Turboing is cheaper. Fock...you can custom build a kit for less than $1k if you know WTF you're doing, where to look,...and all that good stuff.

And shouldn't n00bs be restricted to the Newbie forum?
