Default IAT sensor mod location question

Just bought a new '05 tibby SE V6...and I want more hp!

Can anyone tell me or show a diagram where this sensor is? I know where my MAF sensor is (no brainer)...but I don't know where the IAT sensor is. I bought one of those resistors that's supposed to give more hp but who knows if it works. If not, I'm out $7 but I would like to at least try it out. Thank much all....

Just to let you know, those don't work at all from what I hear, but you can try it out anyway. Let me know how it comes out man.

For the location of the Air Intake Temp. sensor, if you still have the stock airbox in the vehicle (which I would estimate that you do), it is plugged into the bottom of the main box. You will have to unbolt it from the engine bay to gain access, but the sensor should be able to be pulled right out of the bottom of the box. Good luck.

you shouldnt even have to unbolt anything. just look at the bottom of your airbox for a sensor inside a rubber grommet. it should just pull right out.

Hey Jon, have you seen my wideband to narrowband post in this forum section? I could really use some help since you have done this. Did you use the narrowband conversion feature of the PLX unit? If so, what wires did you install the resistors to make the ecu think the stock o2 sensor (which is no longer hooked up) is being heated?

Sorry to be off topic, but I need some help and figured since you have done it already, you would have the most knowledge.

You can reply on my post if you like, thanks a lot man.
