I'm running the 205/50-15" stock rims and would like to put on some 17" or 18" (if they run well). Also I'd like to know which tire sizes run better. I want better traction for road/circuit use. Thanks!
I am running motegi mr3 18's with a khumo exsta 712 215/35/18 tire. The rims are 7" wide and have a +40 offset I beleive. I have never had any rubbing problems, exept when I had the 1/4" wheel spacers installed. The advantage of a ultra low profile tire is very quick steering response. But you feel a lot more of the bumps in the road. I might have done a 17 if I could do it again, but I am also very pleased with my setup as it is. Good luck.
