Default Camaro Vs 2003 Tib

Let me know what you think. I have narrowed my car shopping down to two cars. The v6 Camaro or the 2003 Tib. I keep leaning towards the Tib. Let me know why I should get the Tib instead of the camaro

One easy answer...The camaro is a white trash car.

Well first off,

same price pretty much BUT you get tonnes more options with the Tiburon, so HUGE value in comparison. If you don't want a fully loaded Tiburon, then you save tonnes with the Tiburon.

SCC felt the Tiburon V6 had better handling then a lot of the I4's they had tested it against if you scroll through, and right there, that means that you can out handle a Camaro ANY DAY.

I got here a 1/4 mile for the Camaro of 16.1 but someone was saying before they were running around 15.6 or something like that. Tiburon is running about 15.6. I think you can still do better but I m just using 15.6 for argument sakes.

You get 10 year warranty on the Tiburon so screw the 'reliability war' and the crap that Chevy makes more reliable cars the Hyundai ya da ya da from the domestic lovers.

Tiburon is less on insurance, probally better on mileage.

Overall, I don't think the Camaro can compare to the Tiburon, Tiburon is just so much more superior when looking at these categories.

Plus if you buy the Camaro you are buying a discontinued car. There is a reason they are dropping the Trans am/camaro/firebird, they've been outsold badly by the mustang. I've read on Edmunds that the fit and finish/build quality is actually quite sad on the Camaros. Ultimately it's your choice though. I think the Camaros look like ass personally. I love my 2003 Tib.

How many camaros have you seen on the road? I don't even look twice at them. My 2000 silver Tiburon still TURNS HEADS.

The camaro........
1) is slower
2)is 125%(consumer reports) more likely to brake down than a normall car
3)has a cheap interior
4)would be less fun to drive

They're also planning on bringing them back in a few years.

Guys, you're kidding me, right? A camaro has 320 bhp, and rwd, and you're saying it's slower than a tib? I've heard low 14s for the camaro in the 1/4, stock.
