I believe that there are 2 buttons to function the sunroof according to the Canadian 03tibs which should be the same with the US.

One button when pressed will just tilt upwards. Another button when pressed will open all the way.

Hope it helped. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

the 03 roof does both functions. the button to the left of the interior lights controls tilt- back of roof tilts up quite a bit actually, more than my fathers chrysler 300M. the button on the right side controls the slide. it slides back all the way on the outside of the roof, since the roof doesnt have enough space inside it for it to stay inside like some cars. it does have a sunshade that can be pulled closed to block sunlight, and it is a two piece unit. when you slide it back it actually slides back one half on top of the other. to really understand what the cover does, go look at one wiht the roof tilted up and slide the cover back and look at it from the outside looking in. anyway, hope that helps.
