it gives u a little more power up top. it killed the sound of my car though, made it really raspy and just bad in general. i just wana say that while alot of backpressure is not good for power absolutley no backpressure no only sounds like crap its also not good for torque. i had to put an extra resonator to get some backpressure plus it made it sound about 10 times better. so beware of that when u put ur header in.

well as my luck goes.........i got the bung welded today...at the bottom where they collect...spent 2 hrs trying to get the 2 bolts out of the cat...was unsuccesful. i need to get a set of those sockets that cut into stripped bolts.so, maybe sometime this week i can get back to it. i'm half tempted just to go to a shop and have them take the 2 out and put 2 new ones in.

Yeah i also put headers on mine and i just didn't bother with the O2 sensor. I even bought a O2 simulator and still had my engine light turn on. I have been driving with out the 1O2 censor for about a year and have had no problems. Yeah if you got headers and no cats the car is loud thats what i have, but your tourque is great up hill.

Hi,

I have found on Ebay some headers that comes with two O2 sensors plugs...

Item #: 350066245085

You can do a search on:
Hyundai Tiburon 97 98 99 00 01 L4 2.0L Base/FX Header

I wasn't sure so I went into the feedback and search for someone who bought some and he respond to me that they work fine no cel light came up so far... The only thing he told me to drill the holes bigger since they where 8 of inch off...

Nee ways just wanted to let you guys know...

I might get them... the thing is I'm tired of changing my headers... they never cracked but the flex pipe on my two previous one had to be re-solder where the flex is located. (the headers where the obx one) So my bet is the flex pipe is weak so I will use mine instead of the one provided if I see the soldering is weak…

Please let me know what you think of those headers...

Cheers

Freddy
