Default o2 sensor placement

just a question for you guys with a header.....i need to have the 1st o2 bung welded.....do i just have it in the #4 tube without having to extend the wires or have it put down on the bottom where they all collect? if anyone has a pic that would be great also

i have mine at the bottom where they all collect but you'll have to extend the wires if you do that.

be sure u keep the o2 sensors in the right order. the one in ur stock header needs to be infront of the one thats further down. on my header i had 1 bung in it already so i put the one that was in the side of my stock header in that one and had another bung put in further down. i had to extend both but it wasent bad at all. pretty cut and dry.

better to put them where it sees all 4 exhaust pulses. mine is right after the turbo, so yours should be right after the collector.

sounds good......i figured i would put it where they collect...and it seems as far as a CEL it's just luck wether you get one or not

when i first put mine in it didn't show up but i let my brother in law drive it and he kept killing the car that's what made it show up.

none that ive seen. most just have 1. but a muffler shop can put u one in for real cheap no biggi.

drill the hole yourslef and tkae it to the shop to get welded i did that and it only cost me $10.

now i am curious.....i have the MBRP cat-back....pretty smooth sound. will adding the header make a HUGE difference in sound & power?
