Default Alloy gear surrounds?

I want an alloy gear surround, but i've got to buy it, before I can see it (sound stupid to me as well).

So what would you recommend?

Yep.

It's must be a language thing, i'm only repeating the brochure description.

The one's i've heard of are:

Simoni racing - alloy £33 (about $50)

Richbrook - cheaper but plastic with chrome finish.

Nobody holds them in stock, and they refuse to order, unless I agree to buy it. So if I can get a honest opinion from you guys, i'll buy it.

do a **search** on the forums for Audi TT gearshift surrounds... they look sweet and fit with slight modification.
