Take a look at them in person. I wanted Silver when I first saw the pics, but it didn't look like what I expected it to, when I saw it in person. After I a couple of weeks of looking (b/w black and silver), I ended up taking the plunge for Silver afterall, as I felt that it shows the lines better (the lines are why I like the car) and it doesn't look as bad when it's dirty.

depends. are you one who goes through those huge brush car washes at your gas station and or uses that "foaming" brush at the coin op car wash? if so, dont get black or dark color. shows scratches and swirl marks bad. if you are one like me who uses alot of soap and a sheepskin wash mitt and lots and lots of water and hand washes the car twice a week or so and keeps a high quality wax on it, then dark colors are fine. general rule, dark colors are harder to keep looking nice. silver is an excellent choice. good luck.
I think black2003gt made a good point about the washing procedure. It's hard to keep a dark colour in good shiny condition and alot more easier seeing swirls and minor scratches. My Black 01 Tib right now is very easily attract mud and anything dirty...I see alot of mid-dark swirls already but what tha-heck...I am still getting the 03 (BLACK) color. If you can't stand seeing your car dirty all the time or swirls/scratches, then get the silver.
I preferred you to check it out in person...preferrably on a sunny bright day and see it for yourself. (Hopefully all the colours will be available on the lot at your dealer). That way you will see the car's finest details; cutlines, shape and shadow.
I have always loved black cars. Just my personal preference. However silver is GREAT at hiding scratches. And Minneapolis / Chicago / Indiana use road salt and sometimes sand. Not to mention the roads in indiana SUCK. So I'd have to pop for silver. I'll miss black
