Hey i got a ? for all you guyz. my friend has a 2000 eclipse gt with the shiftronic tranny.. and all he does is talk shit about the 03 tib that im getting this week."that shit is so slow and ugly.. blah blah" i Just wanna know an a 03 tib gt 6spd beat his car? cause i really wanna shut his ass up and represent for all the tib owners out there<img src=/images/forums/snitz/guns.gif width=33 height=16 border=0>

I don't know mouse. It would be pretty close. Car and Driver tested the 2000 Eclipse GT and posted a time of 0-60 in 7.3 secs. I've seen the same times for the 2003 Tiburon GT six speed, give or take a couple of tenths of a second.

Anyways, I think you can still beat the **** out of it cause you got 6 speed.. no? I heard someone doing 6.9 sec..

well i raced a 95 eclipse gs 5 speed and beat him by a car length, and if u want to believe it or not i raced another friend in his 300z (non -turbo) and he beat by inches.

The 2003 Tib should come out on top if the Mitsu is an automatic.

i beat a 300z non turbo but he just got his car that week and was still learning how to drive stick
it looked like he was shifting at like 3k rpms or something
a kills a kill right? even if it wasn't fair one bit

Eclipse GT would win. My buddy owns one & ive driven it, and test drove the 03 tib.. You have to break the tib in first to get it up to its full stock potential. GT all the way...
