hey guys.. friend of mine was harassing me about how he feels the Acura is sooo much better in just about everything. Can anyone console me here?
The 2003 Tib GT beat the RSX type S in a race at SEMA.
Not to mention the RSX doesn't beat the price or the warranty of the 2003 Tib GT Also in my opinion the Tib has way better styling.
If he likes the RSX better then more power to him. If he is going to be too blind to see that there are other cars out there comparable to the RSX then that would be his loss.
The RSX to me looks like a tear drop....I'm sure the owner will be shedding a tear when you whoop his ass!

Admittedly, the RSX is a pretty sweet car, but when I saw it next the the '03 Tib, it just looks really bland. The performance numbers are good, but it's torque is low, it's only a 4 banger and you have to rev it all to hell to get those numbers.
Some people have bought too much into the marketing ploys of Corporate America/Japan, and seem to pay too much attention to the name brands. If ya prefer to spend more $$$ for a little emblem, then sure go for the RSX. But, if you'd rather get the most car for dollar, nothing comes close to the Tib.
Also, some people would rather follow then lead. I personally, prefer to be original and would rather not have or do what the majority of the population dictates. How many RSX owners get stopped in traffic and asked what car that is? There are numerous accounts of that happening to Tib owners. Don't just take my word on it, just drive the '03 Tib around the block and see how many heads turn.

I was all smiles bragin bout my Tib.

Looking at the numbers from the mags, and side by side comparisons, Autobot, I don't think this still holds up true.
Regardless, I wouldn't prefer being another Honda owner and driving around something that everyone has, over driving something that less people have, and looks a lot better.
Styling in my opinion is way better, handling is suppose to be comparable, power is comparable, and all for $3,000 less. Thats $3,000 I will be surely putting in aftermarket mods in for. CAI, Headers exhaust, and possibly some springs, and I will be out running Type-S's like there is no tommorow.
