Default Carbon Fibre hood on my car *PIC*

My friend Alex has an AWESOME Celica GT-S (2000, TRD kit, RH wheels, etc)....

Anyways, he was kinda enough to whip up this Photoshop of my car w/ a CF hood. I think I know what my first big mod is gonna be!

Does anybody know the availability of CF hoods for 2003 Tiburons yet?

There are none. Atleast not in the states but I am sure there will be soon.

Check with Fiber Images. They have one already.

On the contrary. They are available from Fiber Images for the 2003 Hyundai Tiburon as seen on the APC Tiburon at SEMA. Here is how you can get one my friend. One of the dealers of Fiber Images carbon fiber hoods is where I buy some of my Tib's import parts. They are called Northeast Auto Design. Go to www.forperformance.com and check out the Carbon Fiber Hoods section. See it for yourself. Then, simply call the 1-800 number on the website and ask for Ryan. Tell him Mike Baber referred you and he may give you a nice discount. Hope this helps bro. Good luck installing it and give us pics when it is installed.

Hmmm...I would have to err on the no side for that one mechanix034. But you can call him. They are mainly a dealer although check this out. I called them up for the first time when I had the idea of getting sponsorship for my Tiburon. So I asked them if they would sponsor me. So of course they were somewhat indifferent about sponsoring me. But I got them to open up to the idea. But the only problem was they are in Maine and I was in California. But otherwise, they were willing to install a turbo and other components including the exhaust manifold, down pipe, mounting bracketry, a custom made Tanabe exhaust (since they are a Tanabe dealer), and other items. They said that I would be required to use only their products that they deal on my vehicle and that I would have to let them use my car once in a while for promotional activites (car shows and magazines). I was very much tempted to do it, but being in the military, the logistics weren't there. But if anyone has a Tiburon (more like 2nd gen or 3rd gen) that is excellent condition and they want to heavily modify it, then give Northeast Auto Design a call. You should probably be close to Maine too.

This is the second link for that site that I have seen. I do not see a hood for the 2003 Tib (or any Tib) on that site. Tried searching the site for Tiburon and nothing. What's up? Do they have the hood and just haven't updated the site?
Anybody know of any companys that make custom hoods?

I dunno how you missed it but here is how you get there. Type in www.forperformance.com. When the website comes up, click on the logo to enter. On the first page, click on the small "Products" link near the top. On the next screen, scroll down all the way to the bottom. You should see the "Carbon Fiber Hoods" link under the "Miscellaneous" section. Click on it. Next screen, it displays all the available carbon fiber hoods. The 2002 Hyundai Tiburon is in the middle under Honda. It says call for pricing. The number is 1-800-296-6560. Although it says 2002 Hyundai Tiburon, more than likely it is for the 2003 because Fiber Images made their hood for the APC Hyundai Tiburon at the SEMA show. Hope you can find it now.
