Default New news on Cnd GS-R and GT 5-speed?

I got some.

4-6 weeks for the 5-speed. Sametime for the GS-R.

2 people at my dealership (including myself) have put down a deposit for our GS-R's and have our names on them now officially. (Silver for me!)

5 people have also put deposits down for the GT 5-speeds.

This is a hot car, and if you are planning on getting one, you won't be able to drive it off the lot, the only way is if you throw down a deposit. I warned you now!!!

Just reminder harass Cottonmouth for a deal. I think we should turn him into the national salesmen of the year on the board.

You mean we still have to wait for another 4-6 weeks for the GSR? I thought it is already arrived in the Canadian border. It is just a matter of distributing to the dealer. I got thee news about the arrivial of the shipment 2 weeks back. Who did you got the news about having to wait for another 4-6 weeks?

There isn't that much different from the GT in the US. Canadian don't even have any manual GT or GSR right now.

Default Re: New news on Cnd GS-R and GT 5-speed?

A couple monthes back before the Tiburon came out in North America (officially) I went to Hyundai Canada cause the black beauty GT auto was there and I wanted to look at it.

I went inside and was able to ask a couple questions from the dude upstairs (well there were stairs and he came down to talk to me ).

Anyway, I had word from him that its 4-6 weeks. He said thats all he can say. BUT, he said the samething 4 weeks before the I4's were released to the dealers that the I4's won't be released for another 4-6 weeks.

So I went in for an oil change later that day (I was already 600km's over the recommended) and talked to the sales guy I have been feeding my info to.

He said that they have a computer thats hooked up to the warehouse in Toronto (as do all dealerships). So he said according the the VIN's that have come into the docks, he said he hasn't seen any 6-speed V6's or 5-speed V6's. So either they are sitting there, and haven't been officially recieved by Hyundai Canada, or they haven't arrived yet from Korea.
