Default 2003 Tiburon bulbs

Umm...2003 Tiburon owners. Have any of you replaced the stock headlight and other bulbs in your new Tiburon. If so, for future reference, could you let me know what types they are and wattage? Thanks. Also, are any really difficult to replace?

hey you. i replaced my 5 watt stock front position lamps (the little ones in the high beam light). not sure if older tibs had these, this is the first car i have had with them. anyway, i put PIAA superwhites in there. its not hard, its just a pain to get to them. on the GT anyway, you have to remove both plastic covers to the side of the engine. (left side one is one piece from strut tower forward, drivers side is two piece, only the piece above the battery needs to come off). you have to remove the plastic shroud over where the grille is too to get it all to come loose. there are i think 3 or 4 bolts on each headlamp to remove then you can unplug the harness that does all the lights and the socket for the turn signal and out it comes. be patient, all the plastic covers have plastice screws which are a pain sometimes. the lamp housing is a fairly large piece as it is all one piece. the back has two screw off covers one for low and one for high beam. the high beam cover is what i had to remove to get to that little pesky bulb, which by the way, just pulls out. it doesnt twist in or anything. but its hard to get to, have to have little bitty fingers. looks like once you remove the screw off cover you have a screw to remove and a wire clip thingy that holds the actual bulb in. havent changed my low and high beam lamps yet, but will soon. the PIAA superwhites in the frt position lamps are alot whiter than stock. hope that helps. oh and tonight when i was installing my aluminum grille mesh, the fog lamps look super easy to change. plastic cover underneath at the corner come loose and there it is. cant be easier on the fog lamps. oh yeah, the bulbs in the frt position lamps are those little wedge base 5 watt bulbs.

Cool. Then I guess the bulbs are all the same model as the 2k Tib. H7 lows, probably H1 high, H3 fog, and 194 position light bulbs huh. Thanks for the info guys and gals.
