Default Re: Bored out manifold?

Basically a BBTB allows more air into your cylinders, that combined with an intake CAM that has a higher lift and longer duration (It opens bigger and stays that way longer) will allow more air into your cylinders. More air = more power (in so many words) But... a BBTBs performance is limited if you only have a stock IM. That being said, you can maximize your gains by getting a BBIM. Also if you're going to get a BBIM, spend the money to get it from ONPOL or buy it from them. They ceramic coat them for maximum heat resistance. Ceramic coated BBIM = colder + more air = MORE power. *grunts* <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>
