Default Speed odometer problem

Every so often the speedometer sits at zero while im driving. When it sits at zero, if i turn on my turn signal or caution signals, the needle flickers. First I thought it was possible that the engine might need to warm up because of the cold weather, but thats not it. Please let me know if you can tell me anything.

Thanks in advance.

Well it sounds like a wiring problem to me...either a loose wire or the wires got crossed somehow! I would take it to the dealership and have it looked at if you dont wanna deal with tearing apart your dash and gauge cluster!

Liz's does that too sometimes. Grounding wire. Reground the speedo. Also check the SPM on the trans, make sure it's good in there, good ground. THis was the problem on my 1990 Maxima... and later on a Sentra I had.

Easily solved.
