hey guys i just got a 2003 black tib with ultras sports 3. Have any of you guys noticed some rattling in the dash when you go over minor bumps? Its kinda annoying...also the engine doesn't sound that smooth. my dad says its the belt. Are any of you encountering these problems? thanx a lot.

I have seen complaints about this on the forums before. Do a quick search and you might find something. If not, just take it back to the dealership and let them strain their ears. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/thumbup.gif width=25 height=18 border=0>

Man.......I had the most annoying rattle that came from my driver side dash when i first picked up my car. I was so F***in pissed. I started to turn around and go back to the dealership when i noticed that when i slowed down the noise stopped. After a few more minutes of bitc*in i found out that it was a plastic zip tie attatched to my winshield wiper that was bouncing off the trim. *whew* I about craped my pants over a damm zip tie. Ill laugh if that is on yours too. <img src=/images/forums/snitz/laugh.gif width=15 height=31 border=0> If not take it back. I would rather eat glass then hear my brand new tib rattle.

Oh and you have about 2000 miles to go before you break your engine in completely. Be patient. Again if your not satisfied you have a long warranty to use.

the engine noise is probally your idler pulley, as discussed in previous posts. mine is in getting that fixt right now. and speaking of the noise in the dash, did anyone see any more on the rumor of a recall on our cars from way back that said there was a dash support brace that was not installed? just wondering. i never heard anything else.
