Default Tibbys wheel balancing and rotated?

ok..when I was at goodyear (since I had a coupon for half off oil change heh) they said that my car really needed aligned and balanced. First off they tried to sell me everything under the sun...and my car only has 7000 miles on it so I think Id know if it needed aligned...but heres my question, on the other hand I was considering gettin them balanced and rotated, I was wondering:
Isnt it like every 7-9,000 miles that u should balance and rotate your wheels. Plus them damn weights that r on it now r rusting cause they r on the outside, can they put em on the inside or does that cost more?
I dunno, was just wonderin...lol with ym old cars and rims I never balanced em and they were fine but I'm driving 1200 miles next week so I was wonderin if u guys think it be a good idea?..they said $44 for the wheel balance computer spin and rotation.
LOL, oh yeah by the way, the guy also said the factory tires on it were like 175$ tires and i should buy their life time warranty plan, I WAS LIKE NOOOOOOOOO, is this guy a bullshitter or what here help a brotha out fellas

there are wheel weights INSIDE of the tire as well. when you balance the tire, horizontally or vertically, it measures how much off it is on each side(inside and outside) and tells you to put weight where it needs to be. you can't have all the weights inside or it won't be balanced

Actually he did come very close to the price of your stock Michelins on a 2000-2001 Hyundai Tiburon. The 195/55R15 Michelin XGT V4 V-rated tire is pretty pricey. Might as well buy new rims and tires otherwise you'll be paying for $150 a piece V-rated tires that don't perform all that well.

Yeah, I knew they were decent tires, considering factory-compared to other new cars. But I think I'm just goin to get em rotated...then when I get down to Tampa, Im goin to save up and throw some 17s on there and pick up a set of toyos or kumhos or somethin
