Default 03 owners concerns

my dealer said our clocks are normal, nothing can be done, at least right now about the liquidy looking LCD. anyway, the seat issue is a concern and they are going to get me to bring it in the next time a hyundai representative comes in to look at it and get a service bulletin in the works for it. my dealer said the same thing that we already knew, they cant just replace the leather since the cause is the hard part of the airbag under the seat causing it to wear. he said this is most likely going to be a problem with not only the leather equipped cars, but also it may wear through on the cloth seated cars over several thousand miles. so at least someones started on a fix for it. if anyone else goes to a dealer, they told me it was a great asset to have the printed HP forum thread with me since they can show how many cars this affects. thanks for your responses.

any one with seat issues, my dealer's service director called me today and told me to post something on here to let everyone know that it would make a bigger impact if everyone who has the seat wearing issue and clock issue to complain to their dealers about it so it gets more attention than just one or two. guess its kinda like harrassing hyundai to do something.

Good job guys! That's the best way to get results! Don't bitch and moan. Go to your dealer's with a valid question. Maybe they can help. HP helps to start a service bulletin... HELL YEAH!

I too have a Black 2003 GT with package 3 and i am also having the same problem as you. I only have 700 miles on my car and the airbag in my seat is almost puncturing the leather already. There definetly should be something done to fix this. I know you don't see it when you sit in the car but when you open the door it is clearly noticeable.

I'm seeing the same wear issue. No hole yet, but it is an issue. Good luck!
