Default Turbo V6 rumors

Ok, shot in the dark about this question. There have been multiple posts about a turbocharged tib coming out in the next year. Lots of speculation. Anyway if there is some evidence of this then does anyone know if they will be using the same delta engine for this model. Ive also heard that the delta is not an engine proporly equiped to handle forced air. Well this will probably lead to more rumors but anyone with the hook up with info let me know so i can look forward to something to bolt on.

My 03 seems to be getting slower and slower everyday. The more I think about it and check my spedometer I realize that my car is not getting slower, moreso I am acclimating to going fast. Where will it all end? <img src=/images/forums/snitz/approve.gif width=15 height=15 border=0> Anyone else getting the itch to make their car do 0-60 in 6 seconds?

Default Re: Turbo V6 rumors

Hi,

I don't know about the rumors but I,ve seen
a V6 on this forum with a supercharger,
this thing added 40% in Horse power.
And yes I would like to tweak my tib GT to do 0-60 in 6s. Hopefully the new K&N CAI comes out fast and I'm hoping for a little chip-tuning also ! I already contacted a specialsit concerning this and he told me it would definately be possible to make large gains with the ECU, since the tib is downtuned for emission things.

Well if you would read the other posts on this topic that you have obviously seen then you would know that their isn't even any proof that Hyundai will ever do a turbo Tib. Therefore there is no way for us to even know what engine they would use if they do do a Turbo tib in the future.
