Rules for this forum ****UPDATED September 9, 2004****
From now on, please post the full information of what you are selling.
Do not come in here and post something like
Quote:
[body]I have a radio for sale if anyone wants it[/body]
Instead, list what you are selling, a desription of the item you are selling, model # if you have it, post pics if you have them, and most importantly LIST THE PRICE you are asking, THIS ISN'T EBAY.
It would also be nice to pay attention to detail in your ad and list any damages and other info that may help the buyer make a decision without having to ask questions or e-mail you.
This will help to eliminate a lot of useless posts from members asking questions in the for sale form.
Any posts that don't meet the requirements will be locked or possibly just deleted.
Please use a real email in your profile and list your email in your post so that communication between buyer and seller is easier.

Re: Rules for this forum ****UPDATED September 9, 2004****
Some new rules are coming about because of what may or may not have been a misunderstanding but to prevent any other instances like such or misunderstandings we will add these rules.
1) ALL group buys from this point on will have to be approved through myself or Rob
kirk@hyundaiperformance.com or rob@hyundaiperformance.com
(most of you guys are probably better off e-mailing me)
When e-mailing for permission, make sure you include
~a link to your user profile
~a link to the EXACT product you are selling
~and any other information you feel necessary (if important information is excluded, you GB may be terminated even if it was aproved)
2) We will NOT approve any group buys on products that we feel there could be safety issues with.
3) We will not approve an products that we feel are scams or rip offs.
4) We can choose to approve or disapprove any products we feel necessary, for any reason we feel necessary.
Products to not even bother asking to do a GB on
~Rotors that are drilled after manufacturing. These are dangerous and I will not aprove them. If you find a quality crossdrilled rotors that is manufactured by the company during casting them I will hapily aprove it.
~ANY of the products listed in this thread
http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/topic.php?t=33194
because it is all crap and a rip off or scam.
And DO NOT bother asking for permission to do a GB if you are known for ripping people off.
No matter how you feel about your product or your GB, we are the final say so. So DO NOT post it if you did NOT get a definate "YES" on the GB.

***RULES FOR "BUMPING"***
I don't want to tell people they can not bump posts becacause I know sometimes the posts disapears before the sale. But bumping every day is rediculous.
From now on, "bumps" are only allowed in the For Sale/Wanted forum and can ONLY be done 5 days after the final post. This does not mean to make stuff up to post just because your post is no longer at the top. Abuse of "bumps" and/or posting just to get you sale up to the top will result in topic being locked and the seller will no longer be allowed to sell that item.

When hotlinking pictures, the rules for the main site also are in effect for this forum.
Picture hotlinking sizes are limited to 640 pixles in width. Please keep your pictures to around 640 or or if you prefer to have larger pictures, leave them as links.
Re: Rules for this forum ****UPDATED September 9, 2004****
Moderators and Administrators deduct points for different reasons.
Points that are deducted should be returned 1 point a night.
Points that are deducted are done so for several reasons and with varying amounts.
If your points go below 90%, then that means you can not post for 1 day a point until you get back to 90%. 85% means you have to wait 5 days to be able to post again.
Anything above 90% means that if there are any reasons to deduct points, then you are that much closer to a ban depending on how many points are needed to get back to 90%.
