WTB: 98-99 Accent 1.5 L SOHC Exhaust Manifold

That is a recall take it to the dealer and have it changed for free I did They recalled them for cracking just like yours is :

I went through the same with mine. Hyundai Canada are not honouring that recall (bastards!). Give it a try though, I called two dealers, and went directly to Hyundai Canada about it with no success.uzzled:

I wonder why they wouldnt honor that recall? I had originally took mine to the dealer to have it inspected for cracks in the manifold, got the car back with the papers and they said it was fine. Next weekend I pulled the heatshield off to paint it and it was cracked irate: Took it back made some fuss and got it fixed :

I am not sure if you tried car-part.com , but there were some listed from this company in Quebec. No price listed, but at least the call is free.

I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow to see what they can do. I dealt with Mark the service manager at Pickering Village Hyundai for a long time and hopefully he can pull some strings. That was before i found out on the message board about the recall. Hopefully he can honour the recall. I'll try the number above as well tomorrow and I'll see what happens.

P.S. I'm still looking for sellers if they got one for sale!

i had one changed at around 90000km here in Quebec
i might get rid of it too
